ESV Bible OpenSearch Results (A9.com)

You can now search the ESV Bible directly from A9.com.

A9.com (affiliated with Amazon.com) yesterday announced an OpenSearch initiative to integrate search results from other websites into its website. Crossway Bibles is participating in this initiative.

To add the ESV to your A9.com search page:

1. Go to A9.com.
2. Click the “Add Columns to your Search Results” link on the right.
3. Find the ESV Bible column. (You may want to search for esv.)
4. Click the “Add” button.

Now when you perform a search on A9.com, click the “ESV Bible” button to show search results from the ESV.

For Developers

OpenSearch is an open format. You can integrate ESV search results into your own website using this format, though doing so may be fairly complicated.
